The Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time ~ July 27/28, 2024

  • This weekend we will hear about the Ministries of the Franciscan Mission Service or “F.M.S.”  As a non-profit organization, FMS relies on the prayers and financial support of US parishes to serve communities in South America, the Caribbean, and here in the United States.  Your generosity and support of this Mission Service is greatly appreciated.  We will have guest speakers at our Masses this weekend.
  • Just a quick “Thank You” to all those parishioners and friends who volunteered and supported the Italian Festival held at St. James Church last weekend.  Because of YOU, it was a great success.  As soon as all the final figures come in, we will share everything with you.
  • Also, we are asking for your help to spread the word.  Until final church closures are announced in September, ALL parishes will remain open and operate as usual.  For up-to-date information, please visit the parish website, which can be found on the front of the bulletin or call the parish office.
  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is observed on Wednesdays at St. James Chapel from 9am until the 7pm Mass.  All are invited to come and pray throughout the day. We need individuals to sign up for one hour weekly to help keep the sacrament open throughout the day, and especially at the 4pm, 5pm and 6pm hours.  Please call the central office if you can help!
  • Liturgy of the Hours (Christian Prayer) is prayed on Zoom at 9am every Friday morning.  All are welcome!  Call the rectory for the codes to join.
  • Please see the bulletin online for more information about these and other announcements.  Thank you!
